Due to the public-related serious accidents in Hong Kong, the Independent Review Committee on Hong Kong Franchised Bus Service (the Committee) suggested to adopt ISO 39001 Road Transport Management System for the public bus service providers and other related organisations to improve the road safety performance to the drivers, users and general public.
In order to introduce ISO 39001 to the public, we have co-organised a joint seminar "Tackling Road Risk with ISO 39001" with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong and Hong Kong Association of Risk Management and Safety on 20 June.
Ir Stephen Yu was invited to share the benefits of ISO 39001 and how it can be implemented in Hong Kong.The seminar was ended with a Q&A session that drew enthusiastic response from the audiences.
